Ida's birthday
| Ida had a birthday party on Sunday. Her birthday was on Saturday though. The party starts at 12 but then me and Betsy went at 10 . When we got there , most of the people didn't arrive yet ony me, Betsy,Theresa,Jun, and Jun's friend. Later on more people came but then it was Ida relatives. It was fun anyways . We were watching funny movies there . After that I went on the jumper in the backyard , but then it wasn't very fun because there wasn't much people on it . So then I went back to the livingroom and they were playing video games . So then I watched them play . Then I ate lunch and then I still watched them play the video games . I went home at 6:30. The party wasn't really fun, but it wasn't boring. |

Betsy's Birthday !
Friday May 2nd was my sister betsy's birthday. She got a lot of presents I was jelous when someone gave her ciniminroll . My mom gave her a lot of money and at home we celebrated her birthday at home . I made her this heart shaped bowl ,but I don't think she liked it . She had like two wishes she could had made because she had 2 birthday cakes . She had one birthday cake from my mom and on Sunday betsy's friends bought a cake for her . On Sunday was also my dad's birthday so then when he came home from work we celebrated his birthday . We bought our dad this very very sweet chocolate cake with strawberries on the top . I slept very late on Sunday too . I slept around midnight .

My Sunday!
| On Sunday I went to Jack London to watch a movie . I went with my sister Betsy , Christine , Irene , and Jessica . We went to watch this movie which I forgot the name of . The movie starts at 2:15 but we went at 11:30 . It was very cold that day and everyone wore shortsleves . I was the first one there . I had to wait for everyone else and it was very bored while waiting . Jessica was the last one to get there because she lives very far away . After everyone cam we walked around a bit before the movie start . The movie was very funny . The movie ended at about 4:30 . After the movie we walked to China town after a little bit then Jessica's mom drove us home . That was my Sunday ! |

Cal Day!
| Cal Day is a day that UC berkely lets students from different schools to explore around the school . It was On April 12th Last Saturday . It was to 9:15 to 4:30 . It was very fun because there was so much to do . Some of my favorites was petting animals at this science lab . I learned how to make arrow head out of this kind of smooth rocks . I wanted to go rock climbing the most but then they didn't set it up . I was walking the whole day . Carring a very heavy backpack . That day was very hot too I thought I got sun burn after that day . My favorite thing I got from that day was a little toy snoopy . It was soo cute ! Cal Day is so fun . |

what I did on Monday
What I did on Monday was that i had to fly back to the united states . I woke up very early that day and i packed up everthing . The airport that I needed to go to was in Hong Kong . So then I needed to take a ferri to Hong Kong because I lived in Zhou Shan with my aunts and uncles while I was in China . It was fun in the ferri because My family and my uncle was the first one to be on the ferri and we got to be in the VIP room . Even though I was in the VIP room it was boring just sitting there for 2 hours . the plane ride was at 4:00 pm when we got to Hong Kong it was 12:00 pm . After we got off the ferri My family and my uncle we took a bus to the airport When we went to the air port , we had a few hours til we needed to go on the plane . So we ate at a resturant in the airport . We stayed there for about 3 hours until we left . The plane ride was 12 hours long . It seemed short beause it was 2 hours shorter than going to china . It was weird because I went on the plane 4:00 pm on Monday and I had a 12 hour plane ride back , and when I came back it was Monday 1:00 pm . Then I had to take bart back home , and that was what I did on Monday .

my spring break in China
I'm writing this blog in China ! For spring break i went to China to visit my relatives and to meet people . I went to meet many of my cousins . It was very fun too . My aunts and uncles are very nice . Everyday they would bring me to different places to explore China . My favorite was going to a hot spring, we were there almost the whole day. It was very relaxing . We also went to the sauna, the sauna was filled with people, it got so smoky only betsy stayed in there . She came out after everyone left . China is so fun ! |

Yesterday
Well yesterday was the day my grandma and grandpa are going to China . At 9:00 my dad drove my whole family to the air port . It took a long time til we got there because the air port was in San Fransico . It took a long til we were there and when I got out of the car my legs felt numb from sitting too much . When I went in the buildings it was huge! There was so much people there too! I also saw a lot of big airplanes . Then we had to wait in this long line . After they took my grandma and grandpa's things . They have to wait . We left them there around 11:15 . They are going on the plane on 11:30 , but the plane takes off at 1:00 . They are going for about a rew weeks . When i got home it was about midnight! and today i'm feeling tried. Well hope they have fun! |

the science fair
| The science fair is coming up so we'll have to do a science fair project . Almost everyone in the school is doing a science project . You get to think of a science project . Our project in Ms.Pratt's class everyone has to pick a subject for the survey . My project is about different types ofo movies . Well my partners for my science project aren't really doing anything to help me with it . It's like for the science project I'm the only one that is really doing it . They just sit around looking at me do the work . I might be the only one doing the project , but then they won't get the credit for it if they don't participate . So hopefully they'll help . |

Drawing
Drawing is so fun it's one of my favorite things to do . Me and Betsy used to draw a lot when we was little . I don't draw as much anymore though . When I was little I had so much creativity . Everytime I want to draw now I could never think of something to draw of . My little sister Bella was so creative when She was littler , like when shse was 3 or 4 now she is 7 . She would paint about things she don't even know about . Once she drew a burning forest I thoguh to myself how did she draw like that . My little sister have such a creative mind . Now I don't know if she is even that creative anymore . Well I like to draw and it's fun .

Playing the violin
| Playing the violin is fun . I love the high pitch of it . It's also the highest pitch in the string family . I also like the viola too . I like the deep sound of it . We are playing tallis canon in class . The song is so peaceful when all the instruments plays together . I'm still in the beginner strings but I still like playing it . I've played it last year too . I mostly like playing the violin because our music teacher is awesome!

Valentine's Day!
| Today is Valemtine's Day! So far I'm having a Great day . I got Many Valentine cards and a lot of candy . I'm not passing out Valentine cards this year because I made very less cards . I'm giving cards to people that gave me a card or candy, today or yesterday . My backpack is stuffed with candy and cards . I might get more though . I hope my backpack won't be too stuffed though . Every year I would get a large amount of cards and candy ,but I think this year would be the most . Well at least I think so . Valentine's Day is so fun!

Chinese New Year !
| Today is Chinese New Year . On Chinese New Year our parents gives red envelopes to us . This morning I got 4 red envelopes . My dad gave me a red envelope first, then my mom , after that my grandma and grandpa . To get a red envelopes I need to say Happy lunar new year and hope them to have luck and wealth this year . I only got 4 envlopes , but I'm guess I'm going to get more from my mom's friends and other people . I want to spend my Chinese New Year money , but my mom won't let me spend all of it at once . Every year I would wear this chinese dress , but I stopped when I was in 3rd grade because I couldn't fit the dress anymore . So my little sister Bella is going to wear the dress . She looks so cute in it !

My Grandma's birthday
| Yesterday was my grandma's birthday . We bought a cake to celebrate it . I also made a card for her . I didn't know it was her birthday until my mom told me . She was happy when me and my two sister gave her a present . I gave her a card . My older sister Betsy drew a picture for her saying "Happy Birthday!". My grandma could understand it but she liked it anyways . My younger sister Bella drew two pictures for her . She liked my card a lot . I took pictures and we ate a lot of cake .

How I learned how to swim
I learned how to swim was when I was 7 years old . It was my first time swiming too . I was scared to go in the water at first but I still went in . My dad held my hand and helped me swim . My older cousin told me how he learned how to swim . He was learning how to swim and this person picked him up and threw him in the water . Then he figured how to swim by himself . I went in the water because I wanted to learn . My bigger sister Betsy learn how to swim fast . Once I got how to swim I swam almost every single day . My mom and dad my little sister Bella in the water, but she started cring . I knew she would because she was only 2 years old . Now I have fun swimming , but I could only swim when I visit my uncle . I would swim every summer .

The things that are very special to me
I have many thing that are very special to me . One of the things are all my friends, I have many friends that I met at elementary school and this year too . Some of my friends gave me an item to remember them by . I had many friends that moved away they would give me an item and I would give them something back . I don't always get things or gifts from my friends . Many of my teacher would give me things too . One of my teacher gave me a little doll when I was smaller . I still have that doll but I don't do anything with it . I got many picures of my friends too . I would always remeber my friends , and my many things that are special to me .

Christmas~
Christmas is almost here!!! I'm so excited! My cousins and relatives are going to be to stay at my house . For my Chirstmas present I would want a rabbit . I don't know why but I want a pet . I asked my mom but she didn't want me to get one . So I'm going too ask my dad maybe he would let me have one . I want a dog and a cat too but my mom wouldn't let me , she is alergic to cats and dogs but mostly cats . My cousin is going to surprise me with a big present . I'm so excited I can't wait to see what's inside . I don't know what my family is going to do for this Christmas but I know it's going to be a fun Christmas !

what i did this week
| The this things that was most intersecting this week . On Monday I went to school like always . On Tuesday it was my grandpa's birthday . On Wensday we got a teacher that was talking , talking , talking , and talking for the whole 2 periods . Thursday which is today. We got this teacher , and I don't know her name . On Friday (well I don't know what's going to happen though) . Well the things that I know is that Mr.D is going to come back , and I'm going to have fun on Friday too ( maybe ) . On Saturaday ( I don't what's going to happen ) It's going to be normal ( if my mom or dad don't bring me anywhere) . And on Sunday gonna be normal ( again maybe ) or maybe my friend is going to come over to my house again . My week wasn't awesome but it was ok.

sammie
- Sammie was my dog. He was a small white flufffy dog. I didn't know what bread he was , but i knew he was small and fuffly. I was about 4 or 5 when i got him. My mom's boss's dog had puupies and she just gave us one. Well my mom chose one . All of them was brown or black but just this one tiny white puppy. My mom chose the tiny white one because she though he was special . When my brought him home I was excited that she brought a dog home . We didn't know what to name him , my dad named him sammie. Well I don't if that is excally his name because I don't really remember . Sooner my dad gave sammie away to his friends i got really sad . We couldn't keep him because it was too much work . Me and my sister waas suppose to take care of it but we were too small . I miss Sammie and I'm wondering what doing right now .

Thanksgiving~!
| Thanksgiving is coming up~! I'm happy it's almost Thanksgiving. I'm happy that we have a whole week break for Thanksgiving. I'm going to have a lot of fun on Thanksgiving. My cousin and all my relatives would come to our house. They would come every year too. My cousin and I are going to have a lot of fun! It's just to bad that they are only staying for one night , but maybe I can convince their parents to let them stay a little bit longer. I would always have fun with my cousin. My cousin would come for almost every holiday. They would only come for special holidays like Christmas, 4th of July, and Thanksgiving. My cousin doesn't come often because they live very far away. It takes them about 4 hour drive to get to Oakland. I'm going to have a great Thanksgiving~~~!!!

my friends
My friends are very nice. I met many new people , and I made many new friends. I have many new friends , but I would never forget my old friends from last year. I have many friends that are still in elementary school. Some of my friends went to different schools . I still wish that I could visit all my friends that are not in Roosevelt Middle School. I have my best friends here and I'm happy that they are here. I have many friends and I would like to make more. I would be very happy if my old friends are here, but I'm happy that my friends are here. I have new friends and I'm happy with that.
