Jack-O-Lantern Candy Jar

Materials Needed for the Project:
* One Baby Food Jar
* Sculpey Clay (Orange and Black)
* High Gloss Acrylic Spray
* Candy Corn
* Oven

| Remove the label from the baby food jar and thoroughly wash the jar and lid with soap and water. Dry both and set aside for later. Preheat your oven to 275 Degrees Fahrenheit. Take a small amount of orange sculpey and knead it until it becomes very pliable. Once it is easy to work with, spread it over the entire outside surface of the baby food jar lid. Next, add facial features with some black sculpey. When you are happy with the way the lid looks, put it on the middle shelf of your oven for 15 minutes. Let the lid cool for 15 minutes and then spray it with the acrylic spray. Once the lid is dry, fill the jar with candy corn, and screw the lid onto the jar. |
