Ice Cream

Materials Needed for the Project:
* 1/2 Cup Whole Milk
* 1/2 Cup Whipping Cream
* 1/4 Cup Sugar
* 1/4 tsp Vanilla
* 3/4 Cup Salt
* 2 Cups Ice
* 1 Quart Ziploc Bag
* 1 Gallon Ziploc Bag
* Plastic Spoons, Measuring Cups, Teaspoons

| Put milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla into the 1-quart sized bags. Seal the bag securely. Put the ice, salt, and sealed 1-quart sized bag into the larger 1-gallon sized bag. Seal the larger bag and gently rock it from side to side until the contents have turned into ice cream. This will take between 10-15 minutes. Once complete, break out the spoons and enjoy. |
