Materials Needed for the Project:

* Shrink Plastic
* Permanent Marking Pens
* Easter Design
* Nylon Cord
* 2 Beads
* Metal Charm Holder
* Pliers, Cookie Sheet, Scalloping Scissors, Hole-Punch, Oven

Instructions:

To begin this project, you will need to look for an Easter design that would look good as a necklace charm. Remember that it will be 4 times smaller than the original, so you want something around 3 or 4 inches tall. there are many websites with designs that will work. Once you have found an Easter design that you like, place it under the shrink plastic. Then with your permanent markers, begin tracing the design onto the plastic. Once the design is on the plastic, color it in as you like. Next, you will want to cut out your design with the scalloping scissors and punch a hole at the top of the design with your hole-punch. After that, pre-heat your oven to 300 Degrees Fahrenheit. Place your design, colored-side down, onto the cookie sheet, and place it in the oven. You must watch your charm the entire time. Once it begins shrinking, it will start curling up, and eventually it will start to flatten again. this takes anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes. When it becomes flat again, take it out of the oven and let it cool. Once cool, attach the charm to the metal charm holder and close the charm holder securely with your pliers. Attach the charm to the nylon cord and then tie a bead to each end of the cord. your necklace is now complete. To secure the necklace to your neck, place it around your neck and tie a knot in the back, using the beads as a guide.
