This is a simple project that has a lot of room for creativity. The first thing you will want to do is pick out some soap molds that you like. Once you have those, start by melting your soap. Cut as much as you will need to fill a mold from your block of pure glycerin soap. Place it into the microwave safe cup and heat for 40 seconds. If it does not melt completely, heat 10 seconds at a time until it is. Once melted, add desired fragrances and colors, and stir to your liking with the spoon. This is the part where you need to be creative as there are thousands of different things you could do. After you have your fragrance and color combinations worked out, pour the soap into the mold. Let the soap dry for approximately 40 minutes, and then push out gently, by applying even pressure to the back of the mold. Now you're ready to get clean! |
