A Clerihew is a poem named for Edmund Clerihew Bentley (1875-1956), the inventor of this style. It contains 4 lines and muses about someone(usually someone famous). Lines 1 and 2 must rhyme as must lines 3 & 4. The person being discussed is mentioned in the first line of the poem, and therefore must be able to be rhymed with in line 2. Here is an example:
